There are so many reasons I love my husband and today I am sharing 29 of them to inspire you to focus on what you love about your man!
Specifically, I’m joining up with the Happy Wives Tribe to share my never ending list of reasons I love my husband!
In a world that thinks that “happy and wife are an oxymoron”, Happy Wives is on a journey to prove love and marriage still go hand-in-hand, that happy wives do really exist!
I know happy wives exist because I am one of them!
Without further ado, here are 29 reasons I love my husband!
29 Reasons I love My Husband…
- He’s passionate about God. His love for God is evident in the way he lives and the way he loves me.
- He has vision – he dreams big dreams.
- He is the most brilliant guy I know.
- His logical mind complements my emotional one (not always painlessly, but often needed!)

- He makes me laugh.
- He takes his role as provider seriously.
- He listens as I ramble and tries to connect the dots.

- He loves Christian hip hop and gadgets – and has made me adventurous in those areas.
- He tells me he loves me all the time.
- He gives me the most amazing rubs.
- He doesn’t care what other people think as much as I do (he keeps me balanced!)
- He is bold.
- He has this unique walking style – the other day someone said he walks like an African warrior!
- He picks up after himself.
- He is super clean and smells good.
- He enjoys being with me and misses me when we are apart.

My list keeps growing..

immediately after reading this post i went and wrote my own. I easily came up with 43 reasons why i really love my husband . It was so exciting, i feel a new gush of refreshment flowing in me. It is usually easier to look on the not so good side . This whole exercise just changed my perspective
Ann, you have blessed me socks off!! This is what it’s all about, finding reasons to be grateful and continuing the habit! Bless you and may the fresh perspective continue!
It is so inspiring to find a Kenyan blogger, these articles feel closer to home …. Keep up the good work.
So i shared the list with him, he was so moved he became speechless then finally he said he thought i only had 3 reasons and he was so so happy that I am happily married to him and promised to make marriage more fun.
Thanks Ngina
Amen!!!
Great list and great guy!
Thanks Stephanie!

Thanks for coming by Terri!
I just began my list this week and am so looking forward to the journey and enlightenment that I will walk away with as it all unfolds. To share something that I love about my husband….we can talk for hours and often lose track of time. It makes him laugh when my thoughts and words skip around–I’ll say, skipping back to….in the middle of another conversation. He loves me in spite of my newly acquired brain farts.
haha! you have an awesome husband Kim! I know some husbands wouldn’t find ‘skipping around’ hilarious..lol. You are blessed! Am happy you are working on the list. Let’s keep the fires burning!
What a beautiful list, Ngina! And that picture of you and your hubby look like you guys are having so much fun. Just the marriage should be, don’t you think?
Thank you for stopping by Fawn! Yep, marriage should be fun! We must be intentional about it. That’s how God meant it to be.
Awesome post! It’s so important to find things we love about our spouce and reject what the world (and media) tells us, which is usually looking at the negative traits. I don’t have enough room to list all the things I love about my wife. I’ve often told her: it’s not books or sermons or friends who have had the most impact on me… it’s my wife. I am truly blessed!
I love your last statement. A godly marriage is profound! It’s so true, we must tune out the world and tune into the fine things that our spouse are. Glad you came by. Blessings!
Totally blessed by this post! Looking forward to making my own list! Stay blessed…
Am glad it’s inspired you Sarah! I know you’ll have fun doing it! (and it’s a never ending list…so the fun continuous 🙂
It’s so wonderful DS! I love it! God is simply amazing 🙂
Wow, I love your husband too he sounds so great! What a fun post. I’m off to write my own list. 🙂
P.S. I also love, love, love your photo.
Thank you DS 🙂
Thanks Barb! He is wonderful! Am glad it’s inspired you to write your own. Thanks for the photo complements! I love it too
Most of the comments you make about your husband, I can say about mine. I can’t really add to the list. He does help out at home, in fact, I am ashamed to say, that he is better at cooking and cleaning than I.
Teresa you are married to a wonderful man 🙂 !
This is so awesome Ngina. Darren Hardy mentioned that he did this for an entire year in his journal and then gave it to his wife as a present on Thanksgiving. Now imagine that. WOW, this is totally awesome and I will need to forward this to my wife so that she can jump in. Let me see does she have 29 reasons for me? 🙂
Wow that’s the next level! a whole year! He must’ve come away with a book 🙂 Am sure Janice has awesome reasons! Thanks for sharing the post with her
What a great post idea. Showing appreciation to our spouse is so important.
I love my wife’s strong faith in God, wonderful attitude, pureness about life, and commitment to our marriage.
I agree Dan, showing appreciation is super important. Our spouses need to hear it.
Your wife has wonderful traits. You are a blessed man 🙂
Sounds like a wonderful man. Thanks for sharing. We should all take time to write down and share great things about our spouses! mine is a true gift from God, I learn that more with each passing day.
He is wonderful man. I love that you’ve found that to be true of your husband as well. I often think that even if I had a thousand years to choose a mate, i would never have close to this choosing him. God is a wonderful matchmaker.
Am glad yours too is a never-ending list! We learn new things and appreciate them more as time goes by.
I want to see a video of the way he walks now, haha. Great to see you so in love, Ngina. I’m certainly thankful for the blessing that is my wife.
Ha! I should tape him. Funny how small seemingly irrelevant things stand out so much and keep us glued and in awe of our spouses. So true that real life is in the details 🙂
This is a great idea–maybe one I could give my husband for Valentines Day. I think your husband sounds like a wonderful man. And I love your photo–so relaxed and loving. Keep up the good work, my friend! I love your passion for your hubby and for marriage, Ngina!
Beth, giving the list as valentines gift sounds like a great idea! I know your husband would be so blessed (I know mine was). Thanks for the kind words. It’s His grace and ability. God bless you my friend.
This is a great reminder that we all need to focus on the good things in life and of others. It’s so easy to dwell on others negative qualities, I think it’s habit forming. Good list. Got me thinking… Thanks, Ngina. And great picture!
Floyd I believe many of us choose to the easier road (dwelling on the negatives). I believe reminding ourselves of the great traits we love about our spouse will do wonders for our hearts and relationships.
Thanks for the photo complements! It was taken right before he threw me into the fountain. okay, he didn’t…but he tried 🙂
I am doing a challenge that involves writing down why I love my mum. The things I don’t like are written in a ‘box’, so that in 40 days I share one good thing from the list and steer away from the ‘box’. The experience has been amazing, she definitely has no clue of what is going on – but our relationship is so much more pleasant. Great that you’ve done this list Ngina.
Let’s get the movement of more fulfilling relationships out there!
I love what you are doing JepB, wow. I should do something similar for mum ! I like your last statement ” let’s get the movement of more fulfilling relationships out there!’. Amen gal
Awww…….this is so beautiful! Please Lord help me not to become jealous of Ngina 🙂
From your lips to His ears! Lol. Thank you Sheeko
Sniff sniff…
🙂 🙂 hihi
Love it! No. 18 made me laugh. No list yet…:)
Tatuu, I hope you are laughing with me, not at me Lol. When that time comes, remember to do one 🙂
Great post! Totally love it…when I cross the bridge, I will definately create a list 😉
Thanks Paula! Oh yes make sure you do 🙂 It will bless you heart and bless his too!
